Louth

Known as the capital of the Lincolnshire Wolds, Louth is an Georgian market town with a centre boasting many architectural triumphs dating back to the 17th and 18th century. Markets are still held three days a week and there are lots of boutique stores to while away an afternoon (and a few pounds!). St. James's Church, site of the start of the Lincolnshire Rising (a rebellion against the establishment of the Church of England by Catholics), is reputed to have the tallest spire of any Anglican parish church while the splendour of Lincoln Cathedral is about 30 minutes away.

Attractions in the local area include Cadwell Park Motor Racing Circuit, Lincolnshire Wolds Railway and Market Rasen Racecourse and of course the beauty of the Lincolnshire Wolds to explore. The Lincolnshire Coast resorts of Skegness and Mablethorpe with their famously fabulous sandy beaches are only a short drive away.

Closer to home is the Kenwick Park Hotel with its leisure facilities which are available to all guests. It boasts a beautiful swimming pool with saunas and hot tubs; gymnasium; squash courts; and aerobic classes. Kenwick Health and Beauty is also located here with therapists trained to use LaStone, Clarins, Elemis and Jessica products. Also on site is an 18 hole, par 72, 6782 yard championship standard golf course which will challenge even the low handicap golfer.

Afterwards why not dine at the hotel which offers a range of food from bar meals to a la carte dining.
